Restored B-25 bomber Executive Sweet practices take-off for a re-enactment of the Doolittle Raid, a key morale-boosting bombing run on Tokyo by the Army Air Forces. Pictured here is the original nude nose art, whose title is a sexualizing wordplay on “Executive Suite”. Years later, when the American Aeronautical Association performed their restorations, they replaced the art with an original painting that retained the name, but clothed the figure for a more publicly presentable appearance.
